Monthly Meeting
September 8, 2024

1. The meeting was opened at 9:50 AM.
2. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
3. By 10:00 AM all Board members were present along with the Field Manager
and the Safety Officer.
4. The Treasurer reported a total of $2,990.52 in the check book.
5. The Secretary reported another $147.82 is being held in the PayPal
account.
6. Fred Foster turned in the proceeds of the Aero Scout Raffle money to the
Treasurer of $405.00.
7. It was voted on and passed that the Fall Cook Out would be held on
October 6 th, the first Sunday in October.
8. A hamburger and hot dog plus soda would be $10.00.
9. The Vice President asked the Secretary to investigate getting some of the
money spent on the new track reimbursed back from the AMA. The
Secretary said that he would investigate it.
10. The Raffle Drawing was held, and our member Bob Johnson won the Aero
Scout Mini and our member Bob Shirey won the full-size Aero Scout.
11. Bob Johnson was notified of his winnings by phone and immediately
donated the plane back to the club.
12. The members present voted to donate the Aero Scout Minni to our
youngest member Travis Day. His mother was notified.
13. Bob Shirey was notified by voice mail of his winnings.
14. The meeting was adjourned, and a number of the members immediately
went to the racetrack to race their cars.
