Monthly Meeting Minutes

1. The meeting was opened at 10:00 Am by the Vice President,
Steve Caswell.
2. There were 9 members in attendance at the meeting.
3. The Secretary, Roy Pierce stated that there are now 39 paid
members, 13 not paid members, 1 lifetime member and 3
Interested Parties on the club’s roster presently.
4. The Treasurer, Tom Goss reported that at the start of February
there was $3,897.57 in the check book and that there was
$451.62 in collections during the month. Also, there was $149.00
in expenses during the month therefore leaving the present total
of $4,197.19 in the checkbook at the end of the month.
5. The Secretary brought up that he would be renewing the club’s
AMA membership and insurance during the month of March.
Also, he would have to re-register with the State of New
Hampshire this year our non-profit status. He would let the
Treasurer know how much those expenses would be and would
ask Tom for a re-imbursement check.
6. Next on the agenda were the rules related to the Auto Race
Track and the Flying Field. It was unanimously agreed that only
2S battery vehicles would be allowed to race on our track.
Larger power battery vehicles would damage the racing surface.
7. The other rule that was brought up was extending the flying time
on Tuesdays and Thursdays to 1:00 Pm instead of the now 12:00
PM.
8. The Secretary will write up the rule changes and present the re-
written rules to the members in April for a final vote of approval.
9. The last thing that was brought up was if Fred Fosters, due to
his health, is no longer able to mow the field we would need
volunteers to mow it at least every two weeks or more during the
summer. If this doesn’t work out, we might have to hire a
landscaper at a large expense to the club. This could affect the
cost of dues.
10. The meeting was adjourned at 10:25 AM.
