Monthly Meeting Notes
1. The meeting was opened a 10:03 Am by the Secretary, Roy Pierce.
2. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
3. There were 10 members present. President Kevin Foley and the Vice
President Steve Caswell were not in attendance.
4. The Treasurer Tom Goss reported an opening balance in the check book of
$4339.19. Income of $112.00 and expenses of $92.32 left a balance of
$4358.89.
5. We have a new member that joined this month, William Conley.
6. The barbeque is still scheduled for July 13 th . So far, there are only eight
members signed up to come. Please get in touch with Kevin Foley by
Tuesday July 8 th if you are planning on attending. Being that in the past so
much soda was left over after a barbeque it was decided that everyone
should bring their own beverage.
7. Scott Reynold has donated two planes to anyone who wants them. They
are in the trailer. They are both electric. One is a P-47.
8. Due to so much rain this spring the racetrack is overgrown and in terrible
shape, it was brought up that it should be moved to the upper part of the
field. It was decided that Jay Massie (head of the racetrack committee)
should approach the Fairgrounds directors and ask if they will let us
accomplish this.
9. The Secretary will get a drawing and contact information to Jay as soon as
possible.
10. At 10:12 Am, being that there weren’t any more items to discuss it was
motioned and seconded to adjourn the meeting. All voted in favor.
